Good Is Bad, Bad Is Good
In this civilised world, how did we get this point of normalizing the unrestrained wickedness that surrounds us?
Everything seems to be turned upside down. Those who were astute may have seen this coming for some time. But now the whole world seems to be under some kind of delusion. In the last ten years, our day to day life has been transformed into something unfathomable.
Hospitals feed children gender altering drugs, and cut off their genitals, without notifying their parents.

Women’s sports are contaminated by gutless men who pretend they are women; this abomination is sanctioned by sports leagues.

Gutless boys pretending they are girls are raping girls in high school washrooms, again, the practice of allowing boys into washrooms and locker rooms is sanctioned by schools and the powers that be.
There is an obsession with sexual perversion in the world, and it’s trickling down to our children; younger and younger children are being forced not only to have a heightened awareness of sex, are being taught that the perversions of today are normal.
The commonplace murder of children is epidemic (note the post Abortion: Rampant Evil…. ). Children are being murdered in the womb at a rate roughly of 1 per 1.5 seconds globally.

Some might say the evolution of man is cyclic, that we reach a low point but then someone or something ensues which brings us back on track. They could cite the Third Reich, or the innumerable evils that the Roman Catholic Church inflicted upon its followers in the Dark Ages. There are many examples.
The fact is though, that God, in His mercy and forbearance, has always kept a remnant of believers from the beginning, have who have kept the Word of God, of whom He employs to keep mankind from destroying himself, until His appointed time. Many seem to think, in spite of all evidence to the contrary, that the heart of men is basically good, that good will eventually prevail as mankind slowly evolves, and we’re right on the cusp of a great awakening (now that’s a *delusion if there ever was one).
Strong Delusion
How are we to understand this evil then?To make sense of the world we live in today we must acknowledge the spiritual aspect of this present-day world. There are demonic forces afoot the like of which has not been seen since the days of Noah. If we look to the Word of God, we find answers. The book of Romans Chapter 1 is very clear that we all know that God is there, but if we refuse accept Him the Lord will eventually give us over to a reprobate mind. Without the Holy Spirit guide us, we will continually be brought down to accept more and more ideas and practices and behaviours that we once thought to be unacceptable. This is what we are witnessing right now. Make no mistake; If you don’t follow Jesus you will follow Satan. We are born in sin; we are dead to god without Jesus (Ephesians 2:1-3). We have no defense against the slow and relentless onslaught of Satan towards evil.
The following verses in the Word, Romans 1:18-32, Isaiah 66:3-4, and 5:20-21 are like a commentary on this present world. When we read these verses, we find a remarkable parallel to what we see today.
Romans 1:18-32 For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who suppress the truth in unrighteousness, because what may be known of God is manifest in them, for God has shown it to them. For since the creation of the world His invisible attributes are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even His eternal power and Godhead, so that they are without excuse, because, although they knew God, they did not glorify Him as God, nor were thankful, but became futile in their thoughts, and their foolish hearts were darkened. Professing to be wise, they became fools, and changed the glory of the incorruptible God into an image made like corruptible man—and birds and four-footed animals and creeping things.
Therefore God also gave them up to uncleanness, in the lusts of their hearts, to dishonor their bodies among themselves, who exchanged the truth of God for the lie, and worshiped and served the creature rather than the Creator, who is blessed forever. Amen.
For this reason God gave them up to vile passions. For even their women exchanged the natural use for what is against nature. Likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust for one another, men with men committing what is shameful, and receiving in themselves the penalty of their error which was due.
And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a debased mind, to do those things which are not fitting; being filled with all unrighteousness, sexual immorality, wickedness, covetousness, maliciousness; full of envy, murder, strife, deceit, evil-mindedness; they are whisperers, backbiters, haters of God, violent, proud, boasters, inventors of evil things, disobedient to parents, undiscerning, untrustworthy, unloving, unforgiving, unmerciful; who, knowing the righteous judgment of God, that those who practice such things are deserving of death, not only do the same but also approve of those who practice them.
Isaiah 66:3-4 Just as they have chosen their own ways,
And their soul delights in their abominations,
So will I choose their delusions,
And bring their fears on them;
Because, when I called, no one answered,
When I spoke they did not hear;
But they did evil before My eyes,
And chose that in which I do not delight.
Isaiah 5:20-21 Woe to those who call evil good, and good evil;
Who put darkness for light, and light for darkness;
Who put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter!
Woe to those who are wise in their own eyes,
And prudent in their own sight!
The remarkable prophetic scripture of 2 Thessalonians 2:9-12 however, is breathtaking in its accuracy. It pinpoints the period in which we can expect to see this delusion as being close to the time that Antichrist reveals himself, as in Daniel 9:26-27. We believe we’re on the cusp of that time right now. It certainly explains the madness and evil we see right now. It always surprises me that most prophecy teachers focus on the end time prophecies of Daniel 9 and Revelation 6-22 and try to find comparisons to our time, but they spend little time noting the delusion that smacks in the face every day. Those who see this evil but refuse to follow Jesus, who still believe that man is basically good, will be ripe to accept the lying wonders and the assurances of peace that the Antichrist promises. We are approaching the most desperate times that mankind has ever known. There will be a man, strong, charismatic and seeming to have otherworldly power. He will offer peace and sanctuary. Those who don’t believe in the one true God will be drawn to him like moths to a flame. They will accept him as their champion and that will be their end. They will go to Hell.
2 Thessalonians 2:9-12 The coming of the lawless one is according to the working of Satan, with all power, signs, and lying wonders, and with all unrighteous deception among those who perish, because they did not receive the love of the truth, that they might be saved. And for this reason God will send them strong delusion, that they should believe the lie, that they all may be condemned who did not believe the truth but had pleasure in unrighteousness.
*Delusion – 1. a false belief or judgment about external reality, held despite indisputable evidence to the contrary, occurring especially in mental conditions.
